ALDEARDE'S NIGHTS
IMMERSION IN THE PAST
The Nuits d'Aldéarde association brings together history and culture enthusiasts who love Airvault's heritage. We aim to dedicate our energy to promoting this small, characterful town in Deux-Sèvres. The project resulted in a very successful first event in the summer of 2023, followed by a second in 2024, as well as a staged banquet in 2025. In total, more than 3,600 spectators were able to participate in these multiple events. We hope to bring together all those who are willing to offer
a new cultural event to our visitors for August 2026. Thus, we hope to unite, share, and delight residents and visitors, young and old alike...

ONWARD TO NEW ADVENTURES!
We invite everyone to the casting for the next Nuits d'Aldéarde show in 2026, on Friday, October 24th and Saturday, October 25th: a casting of extras and a casting of voices to record the soundtrack locally.
We look forward to seeing many of you !
Scenes full of joy and emotion, which will surely recall the memories buried deep in the minds of our elders, facts and anecdotes they may have heard while jumping on their grandparents' knees !
It is this living memory that we wish to pass on to younger generations through a creative, dynamic, colorful, and picturesque show.
How can we not be drawn into the whirlwind of history and find inspiration there to live our present and create our future ?

In the week following the Aldéarde Medieval Banquet, the association's volunteers paraded at the farmers' market in costumes for the association's next sound and light show.
In August 2026, the Nuits d'Aldéarde association will present its new sound and light show, based on an original scenario, a traveling sound and light show in the village of Airvault.
The scenes, performed against the natural backdrop of the town's architectural heritage, will showcase powerful and moving moments from the history of the city of Airvault in the early 20th century.
