ALDEARDE'S NIGHTS
IMMERSION IN THE PAST
The Nuits d'Aldéarde association brings together history and culture enthusiasts who love Airvault's heritage. We aim to dedicate our energy to promoting this small, characterful town in Deux-Sèvres. The project resulted in a very successful first event in the summer of 2023, followed by a second in 2024, as well as a staged banquet in 2025. In total, more than 3,600 spectators were able to participate in these multiple events. We hope to bring together all those who are willing to offer
a new cultural event to our visitors for August 2026. Thus, we hope to unite, share, and delight residents and visitors, young and old alike...

In the week following the medieval banquet in Aldéarde, volunteers from the association paraded through the farmers' market in costumes for their upcoming sound and light show. In August 2026, the Nuits d’Aldéarde association will present its new sound and light show, based on an original storyline, a traveling show throughout the village of Airvault. The scenes, performed against the natural backdrop of the town's architectural heritage, will depict powerful and moving moments from the history of Airvault at the beginning of the 20th century.
